Isn't it time to do something and get a good night's sleep?
If you are having trouble sleeping, it is time to do something about it. There is
no reason to keep suffering and there's no reason to take a medication that is not
working well.
Insomnia
is a real medical problem and there are real medical solutions. No need to procrastinate.
No need to be embarrassed. No need to be afraid.
Sleep problems commonly are seen by your healthcare professional. After all, 10% of
Americans adults suffer from diagnosable insomnia. Everyone
deserves and needs a good night's sleep. If you're having trouble sleeping, see
your healthcare professional.
When you see your healthcare professional, he or she will want to hear about your symptoms and how they are
affecting not only your sleep; but also your work, your family, your social life
and even your mental outlook. These things are important for the healthcare professional to know,
so that he or she can provide the proper diagnosis and get you the help you need.
You may also want to prepare yourself by reviewing some questions your healthcare professional may ask you. For example, be
prepared to tell your healthcare professional what other medications you are taking and if you have
taken anything for your sleep problems in the past.
It might be a good idea to print these lists out and take them to the healthcare professional's office
when you go.
